Sanjiv Lal

Sanjiv Lal is a pharmaceutical scientist, healthcare entrepreneur, investor, and CEO & Co-Founder of Regen Therapy. Over more than two decades in healthcare, his career has spanned pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, molecular genetics, diagnostics, laboratory sciences, and company building, giving him a perspective shaped by both science and business.

He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The Ohio State University and has founded multiple healthcare and laboratory businesses, including three laboratory companies and two successful exits. His broader work spans entrepreneurship, investing, and advisory roles, including Co-Founder & Partner at Motivant, owner of Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center, Board Advisor to Carl X Dimes, and involvement with XPRIZE initiatives focused on health and human performance.

Sanjiv’s path into regenerative medicine became deeply personal after navigating his own significant health challenge. His search for better answers introduced him to both the potential of regenerative science and the gaps preventing broader adoption, including access, education, manufacturing consistency, and clinical infrastructure. That experience helped shape the founding thesis behind Regen Therapy.

Today, Sanjiv is particularly focused on secretome science and cellular signaling and how the biological communication between cells may influence the future of regeneration, recovery, and healthy aging. He believes advancing the field will require not only better science, but stronger characterization, manufacturing, research, physician education, and collaboration.

At the center of his work is a larger mission: democratizing regenerative medicine. Sanjiv is working toward a future where credible regenerative science becomes more understandable, scalable, and accessible.
